We're thrilled to announce the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new extension of the Dorms of Dreams at Háng Đồng Primary and Secondary School in Sơn La Province, Vietnam! After breaking ground on March 15, 2023, the new facilities were completed and opened on September 5th, expanding this important initiative started by Fortuna Hotel Hanoi.
The Dorms of Dreams project began in 2017 to provide safe, comfortable on-site housing and learning for students from remote mountain villages to access education. Today's opening continues this mission by accommodating nearly 400 more students and teachers.
To celebrate the milestone, our team at Fortuna Hotel Hanoi cooked lunch for the students, teachers, local authorities, and volunteers - a true feast with phở, chicken rice, and more for all to enjoy!
With over 80% of Sơn La Province covered by mountains and hills, projects like Dorms of Dreams are crucial for youth education and development. We're committed to supporting underprivileged students who desire to improve themselves and their communities.
